As a leading provider of social services in Auckland, we have an exciting opportunity to enhance your management skills and join our team of SWiS Practice Managers.

Mō te tūnga | About the role

As a Practice Manager you will lead a team of dynamic social workers, be responsible for developing strong relationships within the Auckland educational and social service sector and be an integral part of a cohesive team of five SWiS Practice Managers.

Mōu | About you 

You will have:

  • A relevant social work graduate or master’s degree
  • At least two years’ experience in a management/supervisory role or have been in a position where effectiveness is achieved through proven leadership and managing people and relationships.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work positively within a wider management team.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to developing a strong and cohesive team of social workers.
  • Knowledge of working within a school-based environment
  • Supervision qualification, knowledge and demonstrated experience in providing social work supervision.
  • Be a strong communicator and have excellent writing skills.
  • Will be Social Work registered.
