Mō te tūnga | About the role
As a Practice Manager you will lead a team of dynamic social workers, be responsible for developing strong relationships within the Auckland educational and social service sector and be an integral part of a cohesive team of five SWiS Practice Managers.
Mōu | About you
You will have:
- A relevant social work graduate or master’s degree
- At least two years’ experience in a management/supervisory role or have been in a position where effectiveness is achieved through proven leadership and managing people and relationships.
- Demonstrate an ability to work positively within a wider management team.
- Demonstrate a commitment to developing a strong and cohesive team of social workers.
- Knowledge of working within a school-based environment
- Supervision qualification, knowledge and demonstrated experience in providing social work supervision.
- Be a strong communicator and have excellent writing skills.
- Will be Social Work registered.
