ATWC counsellors work with individuals, couples or families to help them learn more about themselves and their relationships so they can make the positive changes they want in their lives, especially in relation to their children’s wellbeing.
Our experienced counsellors have high professional and ethical standards and our counselling sessions – which usually last between 60 and 90 minutes – are available to people of all ethnic and spiritual backgrounds.
Depending on your needs, our counsellors may focus either on exploring current issues and making choices or on your past experiences to help you resolve issues and move forward. You can discuss with your counsellor what they can offer you and how you can benefit.
Counselling can help with a range of issues including self esteem, relationships, anger, depression, stress management, grief and loss, physical, emotional or sexual abuse, emotional aspects of immigration, dealing with change, cultural issues and spirituality.
