3 mothers have recently graduated from Tikanga Ririki, a Māori Parenting Programme that promotes violent free parenting.

The Tepa I Tua Parenting Programme is primarily for Samoan speaking families who are struggling to parent their children under the New Zealand laws and customs.

A calabash (taha) was a gourd which held a precious oils and water. They were treasured object. The taha stands for the tipuna rules and tikanga.

A local group of ladies, The Friday Quilting Friends, have gifted Anglican Trust for Women and Children (ATWC) three hand-quilted blankets.
