St Mary's Preschool

St Mary’s Preschool is a unique learning environment based in Ōtāhuhu on our main site. For children aged 0 to 5 years from all backgrounds and ethnicities and offer families quality, affordable childcare.

St Mary's Preschool

Children at our preschool at St Mary’s Family Centre in Otahuhu explore, discover and grow in a rich, stimulating environment where they interact with caring, supportive adults.

Like all of ATWC’s integrated services, St Mary’s aims to protect and nurture children and their families and to give them new learning opportunities.

ATWC preschools have an open-door policy. Learning begins at home and links between home and pre-school are important. We invite parents and guardians to come and experience our programmes and see how they enrich children’s at-home learning experiences.

Our Philosophy

At ATWC St Mary's Preschool, we are committed to providing a nurturing and enriching environment that fosters the growth and development of every child in our care.

Our philosophy is deeply rooted in our ATWC core values of Whakawhanaungatanga, Aroha and Hope, Compassion and Respect, Integrity and Professionalism, and Stewardship.

Guided by the principles of the Te Whaariki curriculum, we are dedicated to creating a place where each child is valued, celebrated, and supported on their unique journey of learning and discovery.

Take care of our children. Take care of what they hear. Take care of what they see. For how the children grow, so will the shape of Aotearoa.
