We are seeking a positive, organised, and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our People and Culture team. This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Ōtāhuhu office.


About Us

ATWC (Anglican Trust for Women & Children) is a well-established Charitable Trust with over 160 years of service to families in our community. Guided by the values of Aroha, Whakawhanaungatanga, Kaitiakitanga, Māiatanga, Tumanako, we deliver multi-disciplinary services that empower tamariki and whānau across Auckland.


About the Role

The purpose of this role is to support the efficient and effective coordination of HR and payroll functions across the organisation. Working closely with the People and Culture Manager, you will contribute to a broad range of HR initiatives including:

  • HR software and systems – maintaining and implementing the HRIS

  • File administration and management – creating and maintaining HR personnel files

  • Payroll – assisting with payroll processing and reporting

  • Recruitment – supporting the end-to-end recruitment process

  • Health and Safety – assisting with organisational H&S processes

This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys people-focused work, attention to detail, and enhancing organisational systems.


What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and solutions-focused individual with the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field

  • Experience in an HR role

  • Good knowledge of employment legislation

  • Understanding of HR processes and best practice

  • Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems (preferably MYOB and ELMO)

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • A resilient, focused work ethic

  • A positive, energetic attitude and a willingness to get things done
