Service Delivery Manager – Education & Engagement

Lead Teams | Drive Impact | Strengthen Tamariki & Whānau

We are seeking an experienced, solution-focused, and resilient senior manager to lead ATWC’s Education and Engagement portfolio. This includes Social Workers and Youth Workers in Schools, Engaging Priority Families, Attendance Services, and Kia Ora Ake.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be a member of ATWC’s Senior Leadership Team, leading Practice Managers and kaimahi to deliver innovative, high-quality services that enhance outcomes for tamariki and whānau.

About the Role

As Service Delivery Manager – Education & Engagement, you will:

  • Lead and support teams across ATWC’s Education and Engagement portfolio
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with funders, schools, and NGOs
  • Ensure services are whānau-focused, reflect whānau voice, and are responsive to changing needs
  • Identify opportunities for collaborative, wrap-around support for whānau
  • Monitor, evaluate, and continually improve service delivery
  • Contribute strategically as part of ATWC’s Senior Leadership Team
  • Lead a high-performing team of Practice Managers and kaimahi to deliver exceptional outcomes

This is a full-time, 37.5-hour per week role, primarily based in the Otahuhu office.


What We’re Looking For

You will bring:

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and deliver on organisational objectives
  • Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and experience in bicultural, culturally sustaining social services
  • Experience in monitoring, evaluating, and improving service delivery
  • High-level communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, and team leadership skills
  • Minimum three years’ leadership experience in social or health services, preferably in an education setting
  • Degree-level qualification in Social Work or relevant discipline (postgraduate learning preferred)
  • Current full NZ Driver’s Licence
  • Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand
