We welcome Linda Potauaine (Ngai te Rangi) to the ATWC team! With a remarkable community service and leadership track record, Linda brings a wealth of experience and passion to our organisation.
A proud Northland-born farm-raised, Linda has spent nearly 25 years married to her husband, Semisi, a Tongan architect, in West Auckland, where they have raised their two wonderful children, Jackson (22) and Arlia (17). Her diverse background includes over three decades in business, managing and owning her own hairdressing business and serving as director of her family’s architecture and art design firm.
Linda’s recent work in the not-for-profit sector, particularly with Visionwest Community Trust, has honed her PR, communications, and marketing expertise. As an adult, she has balanced full-time professional engagements by earning her bachelor’s degree, showcasing her dedication and drive.
As a proud member of Ngai te Rangi, Linda believes in her work’s importance of cultural identity and community values. Deeply committed to community engagement, Linda has been an active Rotarian and volunteer, where her decisive leadership and compassionate approach have made a significant impact. Her ability to identify opportunities and challenges aligns perfectly with ATWC’s mission.
Additionally, Linda proudly serves as the elected representative for the Waitakere Ranges Local Board on the Auckland Council, further exemplifying her commitment to fostering strong community ties and driving positive change.
As she steps into her role with us, Linda is eager to collaborate with our dedicated team to create meaningful change for the communities we serve. Join us in extending a warm welcome to Linda as we look forward to the remarkable impact we will achieve together!
