Mō te tūnga | About the role

We are currently looking for a skilled Donations Assistant who will support our Donations Team in providing families with resources. This includes following the donations process by obtaining, maintaining and distributing donated goods. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to working alongside our donors. We are looking for some with an immediate start and should be physically competent to carry heavy load.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

  • Excellent communication and donor service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to develop high quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in data entry and record-keeping
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Teams
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and discretion.
  • Familiarity with donor management software is desirable
