CHILDCARE WORKER FOR MELLOW PARENTING PROGRAMME

Do you love working with pre-schoolers and babies?  Looking for part time work? We would love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone to fill a part time position to provide childcare to a small group of pre-schoolers/babies for 2 days per week, whilst their mothers attend our Mellow Parenting programme.  Both groups are run in the South Auckland area.    We are looking for someone who has experience working with young children. A high level of cultural awareness, and understanding of tikanga would also be desired.

Ideal applicants should have experience working or caring for children.   You must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Experience working with/caring for young children
  • Commitment and sensitivity to working within lower socio economic and multi-cultural communities
  • Able to work alongside others but have independent working skills also
  • Capacity to pass Police and MSD vetting checks
